Loving: Renate Flora Duvet Set

Everytime I see really sweet bedding, like this Renate Flora duvet set from Ikea, I swoon and start envisioning waking up on a sunny Saturday morning cuddled up in it. Then, I crash back to reality where I live with a guy who woule never go for something like this, and even if he would, the baby would never let me sleep that late and wake that peacefully. I can still dream though!

Loving: State-By-Celebrity Tote Bag

This State-by-Celebrity Tote Bag from Melangerie, Inc., at Supermarket HQ is so much more fun than those boring grocery totes you buy from the store. I would probably remember to actually bring my bags to the store because I would want to see the funny faces on the baggers.

Loving: Modular Cube Storage

This Modular Cube Storage system from Way Basics at 2Modern would be a perfect addition to almost any room. It would be really sweet in a kid's room, would be a fun way to add color in a kitchen, and would be a much cooler way to store clothes and shoes in a closet-less bedroom.

Loving: Babushka Piggy Bank

These Babushka Piggy Banks from Studio Ooga at Emmo Home are a perfectly simple form of a piggy bank. They would look really cool grouped together on a dresser and you could label them for different expenditures (shoes, vacation, more piggy banks...).

Loving: Alphabet Cards

I love everything about these Alphabet Cards from CreativePlace's Etsy shop, especially those awesomely retro illustrations. I would probably have to buy two sets, one for the kid and one for me.

Loving: Coconut Laquerware Bowls

I love the contrast of the natural brown interior and the bright exteriors in these Coconut Laquerware Bowls from Branch. They seem like the perfect size to set everything up when you're cooking or to use as little storage bowls.

Loving: Matera Five Drawer Chest

I think winter makes me want to completely redecorate my place with dark woods and wooly rugs, so this Matera Dresser from Design Within Reach would be perfect. It's really simple, but I love how the trim frames the drawers and holds it up off the floor.

Loving: Papermen Coat Rack

This Papermen Coat Rack from Dutch by Design would look really cute in a kid's room. It's the perfect combination of practical and adorable.

Loving: Pia Wallen Slip-in Slipper

So when I was little I got it in my mind to make my mom a pair of slippers as a surprise. So I found some nice green fabric, traced my mom's shoes right in the middle of it, and cut them out. A little glue and some cotton balls later I gave them to my mom only to have her realize I'd cut up the fabric she'd just bought to make a new skirt for herself.

These Slippers from Pia Wallen at Velocity remind me exactly of those slippers, though without the glued on cotton balls.

Loving: Outdoor Hanging Candles

I love that these Outdoor Hanging Candles from Dutch by Design can be hung just about anywhere so you can have candle light everytime you have dinner outdoors without cluttering up the table or installing permanent light fixtures.

Loving: Kimberly Hair Comb

I really hate having to do my hair for anywhere that a ponytail isn't appropriate. It just always ends up falling out unless I shelac it in place with a combination of mousse, hairspray, and several pounds of bobby pins. But this Kimberly Hair Comb from Emily Elizabeth Jewelry at Supermarket HQ looks sophisticated and really easy.

Loving: Panier Table

This Panier Table from the MoMA store combines a bunch of my favorite things: it's a really fun shape, it's clear so it'll make a bunch of really cool shadows, and it's green! Awesome! It of course comes in other colors too, but the green rocks.

Loving: Harper the Hippo Teething Toy

Now that my little guy is teething, he'll chew on just about anything he can get his hands on. I used to think that wood would be too much for little teeth, but it seems like the harder the better, so this Hippo Teething Toy from Little Alouette at Supermarket HQ would be perfect.

Loving: Walk Through the Woods Note Pad Set

I'm a complete sucker for cute paper like these Walk Through the Woods Note Pad Sets from Cicada Studio at Supermarket HQ. I even have stacks of stationary that's too pretty to write on and mail to prove it. So I would love to get these to jot down quick notes or shopping lists, but we all know they would just end up lying nicely on top of my desk.

Loving: Fifties Kitchen Hanger

This Fifties Kitchen Hanger from Graham and Green is really cute, and you always need all the storage space you can get in the kitchen. Of course, there's no rule that you would have to hang this in the kitchen, but it would probably just confuse guests if you hung it in the bathroom.

Loving: Open Air Contemporary Cutlery Set

I love the look of this Open Air Cutlery Set from Dutch By Design. I don't know how it would be to eat with, but it would make a really cool place setting.

Loving: Corbel Glass Desk

This Corbel Glass Desk from Restoration Hardware is just really cool. I love how the plain glass top lets the rugged and solid legs be the main focus.
