Loving: Outdoor Hanging Candles

I love that these Outdoor Hanging Candles from Dutch by Design can be hung just about anywhere so you can have candle light everytime you have dinner outdoors without cluttering up the table or installing permanent light fixtures.

Loving: Origami Kusudama

There are so many different things you could do with this Origami Kusudama from OrangeGuppy's Etsy Shop. If it were in white, it would look like a giant lit snowball. Or you could get them in reds and greens and hang them in a window instead of the usual Christmas lights.

Loving: DuffyLondon Chandelier Print Wall Light

I liked this Chandelier Print Wall Light from Exclusively Home just for the print's quirkyness and cool color, but it's even better because it lights up.  It would make a great grown up night light in a hallway.

Loving: Pablo Umbrella Lamp

This Umbrella Lamp from Design Public is really wonky.  It would be really fun to just insert it into a normal living room for a fun vibe and to watch all your guests give it strange looks when they first see it.

Loving: Forest Silhouette Collection

The Forest Silhouette Collection from Roost at Velocity is absolutely beautiful.  I love how the cylinders are not quite perfectly straight and the eerie way the tree would flicker in the votive and hurricane lamps.

Loving: Damask Indigo Sconce

This bright Thomaspaul Damask wall sconce from 2Modern would be a great thing to hang in an apartment where you can't paint the walls.  It adds just a little bit of color to a room, but that color is so bright and rich that it would stand out instead of fading into the background like other lamps.

Loving: Meridian Table Lamps

These Meridian lamps from Feel More Human give off a really nice glow, almost like candlelight.  They also have a subtle mum design in rich colors that can either fade into a background or pop on a side table.

Loving: Uto Lamps

These Uto lamps from Hive are really fun because you can just hang them where you want.  They're made from flexible silicone, so you can wrap them around a beam or coil it around a bed frame, just about anywhere you'd need light.

Loving: Cobra Lamp

I love the Cobra Lamp from Hive.  I think I would keep it in the more spherical shaped configuration.  It just looks more like a little globe of light.  Of course it's great that the light can be swiveled around to wherever you want it without being too obvious.

Loving: Versailles Lamp

This Versailles lamp from Graham and Green looks like it could have been plucked out of a French castle.  The graceful shape is something new and unexpected, but it still looks antique.  They paired it with a black shade, but I think it would be great with a dark teal or plum color.

Loving: Design Public

I love the really cute, muted pattern on this three-tiered pendant lamp from Design Public.  It's just subtle enough to blend into a room, but with it's own pattern to make it interesting on it's own.

Currently Loving: NotNeutral

These punched metal lanterns from notNeutral are a great way to bring candle light into a house in a completely new way.  When lit, they give off a beautiful design on table tops and walls, and almost create their own doilies.

Wishing I had taller ceilings...

The Erich Grinder Mansion Chandelier sold at Design Public has a great arts and crafts feel, like you could almost whip it out yourself with a magical jigsaw.  Of course, the massive headache and possible injury that would follow is just not worth risking it.

You want Steam Punk. We can help.

I don't usually look to the Home Depot for really cool design, but their lighting section has really gone above and beyond the call of the orange smock.  Their line of Hampton Bay lights is part industrial modern with just enough steam punk to fit into almost any house or office.
