Staring at: Allusion

I could stare forever at this print called Allusion from Yellena's Etsy shop.  The detail in it is amazing and the colors somehow work together here.  The only way I can describe it, is that it looks like someone blew up a evil seamstress' laboratory, and the silk and hosiery experiments are raining down.

Sitting on: Kartell Mademoiselle Chairs

I love the combination of the clear plastic legs and the great fabrics in these Kartell Mademoiselle chairs at AllModern.  It almost looks like the chair is floating, the intricate Missoni fabrics gives it an earthy, modern feel.

Loving: Houndstooth Trivets

I love this cork trivet from Mio at Supermarket.  Any time you can take something basic that everyone has in their home and make it new and interactive, I'm there.  These cork hot pads have a houndstooth pattern and come in sets of 12 (6 of each color), but you can get a couple sets, link them all together, and have one giant hot pad down the center of a table at a dinner party.

Loving: Karen Hilton Design's Pillows

So of course the front pillow is the classic Union Jack from KarenHiltonDesign's Etsy shop, but I think I  love the bright colors in all the rest even better.  The design is classic, but bringing it out in lime, pink and orange makes it pop in a room even more.

Loving: Urban Outfitters

So this cushion platform from Urban Outfitters could be difficult to find a place for in most homes.  It would be perfect to make a lounging area under a low window with a lot of pillows thrown around.

Loving: Flock of Swallows

I love this mobile called Flock of Swallows from Roost.  The little wooden birds really look like they're swooping and diving like real swallows.

Loving: Scram

I love the open feel of this Wishbone Slab desk from Skram at 2Modern.  The simple black lines make it look like it has Chinese influences.  Plus, the dark grain of the desktop is beautiful.

Loving: Gus Design

This is such a great idea.  These picture rails from Gus Design have just enough lip to hold pictures in place, but you can just change out the pictures and frames whenever you want.

Loving: DucDuc

This armoire from DucDuc's Cabana Collection at Fawn & Forest would be perfect for an apartment that's lacking in closet space.  It has four drawers, an adjustable shelf and a hanging bar.  Of course, you wouldn't be able to hang anything too long, but since I'm not big on dresses, it's not that big of a deal.

Sitting on: Staach Cain Chairs

I love the simplicity of these chairs from Staach available at 2Modern.  The Cain chair has really simple lines that let the color do all of the talking.  I would get a bunch of the blue chairs around a lacquered black table.  And they're stackable, not that there's much need to stack these chairs in your own home, but it's kind of cool that you could.

Loving: Design Public

I love the really cute, muted pattern on this three-tiered pendant lamp from Design Public.  It's just subtle enough to blend into a room, but with it's own pattern to make it interesting on it's own.

Dining On: NotNeutral

The pattern on these plates from NotNeutral completely reminds me of patterns on doilies or that you would make with a spirograph as a kid.  But the gold on white makes it really beautiful and elegant.  I would plan a dinner party just to serve food on these plates.

Loving: Plush Living

I love the big leaf pattern in these bed linens from Plush Living at Pillows and Throws.  The contrast of the bold pattern on white with the earthy tones of the print make it perfect for a bunch of different bedrooms.

In Defence of a Loud Sofa

Yes, I know, it's bright and floral.  It's something that would show up in a sitcom at the crazy older aunt's retirement condo in Boca.  But I love it!  I want to paint a room pale grey blue and plop this sofa from Pier 1 Imports down front and center.

Currently Loving: Tikoli

I love these gorgeous kitchen towels from Tikoli.  The bottom one is called Air, and the really delicate dandilion seeds are perfect on the really pale blue.  And the green one, called Blok, almost looks like geometric bubbles.

Currently Loving: Carambatack

These illustrations from Carambatack's Etsy store are completely adorable.  I love the all the different patterns she used in the Mother and Child owls.  The Peacock design has not only a great filigree look, but the vintage book pages that it's printed on are like art themselves.

Currently Loving: Hive Modern Calendars

I love these calendars from Hive Modern. The first one, called Timor, is great for a small space on a sparse desk, and the larger one, called Formosa, is perfect to add a little bit of graphic art to a wall.  And you don't have to throw the out at the end of December.

Currently Loving: Moss

I love this Crochet Table from Moss.  It's light and airy, and the flower pattern is really adorable.  It makes me feel like after all the scarves and blankets I've crocheted I can now move on to furniture.
