Loving: Burton Exhibition Poster
This Exhibition Poster from Tim Burton at the MoMA Store is exactly the kind of creepy drawing you would think Burton would have drawn in his high school notebooks. I'm such a huge fan that I would love to have this hanging in my house even though it's really freaky.

Loving: "Friend" Felt Box
These "Friend" Felt Boxes with Bamboo tops from Branch are really cool. There's something really cozy about felt, but these are sturdy enough to not only hold the top up, but you can also stack them.

Loving: Polaroid Journal
This Polaroid Journal from Cracked Designs at Supermarket HQ is a really great idea. It has a bunch of pages with questions to answer about each picture.
Monday, December 28, 2009
Loving: Long Cotton Wood Tree Log Bolster
These Log Bolsters from ChicSinDesignDotCom's Etsy Shop are so realistic it's crazy to think they're made on a knitting machine. It would be kind of funny to have a bunch of them stacked up next to a fireplace.

Loving: Les Moustaches Gift Tags
These Les Moustaches Gift Tags from Fuzzy Grapefruit at Supermarket HQ don't really scream Christmas, but they would be hilarious on Christmas presents. Bonus points if you can match the facial hair on the card to the facial hair in reality!

Loving: Lil Christmas Tree Tutu
I loved my tutu as a kid, and would have worn it all the time if my parents would have let me. So I would love to dress up my kid up in a tutu like this one from LilLadyBoutique's Etsy Shop for every holiday.

Loving: Winter Wonderland Christmas Cards
I wish I had thought about Christmas cards earlier because I would have ordered a bunch of these Winter Wonderland Cards from SpringOlive's Etsy shop. I love the teal (one of my favorite colors lately) and the crazy illustration.

Loving: Roost Porcelain Feather Ornament
These Porcelain Feather Ornaments from Roost at Velocity are beautifully delicate. Again, I'm just dreaming of an all white Christmas tree, maybe next year.
Tuesday, December 15, 2009
Loving: Origami Kusudama
There are so many different things you could do with this Origami Kusudama from OrangeGuppy's Etsy Shop. If it were in white, it would look like a giant lit snowball. Or you could get them in reds and greens and hang them in a window instead of the usual Christmas lights.
Monday, December 14, 2009
Loving: Ho Ho Ho Ho Cubed Wall Decal
This Ho Ho Ho Ho cubed Vinyl Wall Decal from UrbanExpression's Etsy shop is the perfect quirky holiday decoration, especially when you have math geeks in the house.
Thursday, December 10, 2009
Loving: Whirl Ornament
How cute would these Whirl Ornaments from Kimwestad's Etsy shop be on an all white Christmas tree? They're like crazy white icicles that were formed during a tornado.
Wednesday, December 9, 2009
Loving: Christmas Tree and Ornament Wall Stickers
It's pretty hard to get a Christmas tree in an apartment, but this would be a great alternative. These Christmas Tree and Ornament Stickers from Charming925's Etsy store just get stuck on the wall and can get peeled off after Christmas is over.
Tuesday, December 8, 2009
Loving: Cardboard Leaf Wreath
This Cardboard Leaf Wreath from Branch is really beautiful. The cut outs are really detailed, but the white color makes it really simple and modern.
Monday, December 7, 2009
Loving: Christmas Tree Forest Pillow
This Christmas Tree Pillow from AllisaJacob's Etsy store is adorable to pull out for the holidays. It's actually something you could have around all year since it's not overtly Christmasy.

Loving: Urban Creature Timer
I would totally bring this Urban Creature Floral Kitchen Timer from Vitamin Living to a designer and ask them to make me a kitchen to match. It's so odd but pretty at the same time; a decoration that also serves a purpose.
Tuesday, November 24, 2009
Loving: Decoylab Cuckoo Clock
I love all the cute little details in this Cuckoo Clock from Decoylab at Fawn & Forest. It has everything that a traditional cuckoo clock should have, like the dangling weights and cute forest animals, but by making it a print with a clock built in, it's like a piece of modern art to hang on your wall that also happens to tells time.
Monday, November 23, 2009
Loving: Turquoise Necklace
This Turquoise Necklace from Svetlana1963's Etsy Shop is some really heavy duty stone, but the flowers look beautifully delicate. I would love to wear this with a little black dress.
Thursday, November 19, 2009
Loving: The Drop Table
The top of this Drop Table from Structured Green at Velocity is absolutely beautiful. I love all the different colored woods especially since the lighter wood seems to separate each one so they really stand out.
Wednesday, November 18, 2009
Loving: Sweater Knit Pillow Covers
I saw these Sweater Knit Pillow Covers in Pottery Barn and instantly fell in love with them. They're really soft and feel like lounging on a bunch of sweaters.
Tuesday, November 17, 2009
Loving: Farm Wing Settee
I love how this Farm Wing Settee from Hickory Chair looks like something that would have been handed down in a family or found forgotten in a grandmother's attic. I would curl up on this with quilt and a book in the middle of winter.
Monday, November 16, 2009
Loving: Newton Cream and Sugar Dish
This Newton cream and sugar dish in gold from Tonfisk Design at the Finnish Design Shop is really pretty and really cool. You put the cream in the bottom and sugar in the dish on top and when you pour the cream out, the sugar dish on top tilts so the sugar doesn't go everywhere. And it's lined with gold which makes the simple white dish really luxe.

Loving: DwellStudio Baby Bundle Bag
Whenever I take the little man out now I usually grab one of his fleece blankets and tuck it into his carseat or stroller. Of course, five minutes later he's either pushed or kicked it down or one of the corners is dragging on the ground. So now I really want this cute Bundle Bag from DwellStudio at Design Public. All of the seat straps go right through the back, so you can still secure the baby like normal. And it comes in some really cute prints, like this travel one that's perfect for a little man on the go.

Loving: "Kitchen" Tea Towel
I've decided that since I'm staying at home and doing the whole Mom thing, I need to really do the domestic thing to the extreme. Of course, this means having decorative towels like this "Kitchen" Tea Towel from Branch around the kitchen. I completely remember that when I was a kid, whenever you dried your hands, it was on the towel draped over the stove handle. So I have to start my towel collection soon.

Loving: Cubby Organizer Wall Shelf
I think I need to put one of these Cubby Organizer Wall Shelves from Smart Furniture into every room in my house. There's always little things that you lose: the remote in the living room, glasses in the bedroom, cell phone everywhere...

Loving: Brooklyn, New York Print
I love that there's so much detail in this print of Brooklyn, New York, from Andy Pratt Design at Supermarket HQ. It's a really intricate drawing, but since it's all done in one color it has a great simplicity to it. Plus, I love anything in that olive-y color.
Monday, November 9, 2009
Loving: Bungalow Credenza
There's something really cool and strange about floating furniture like this Bungalow Credenza from Exclusively Home. It's crazy, that thing should have legs, but it still looks really cool.
Friday, November 6, 2009
Loving: Roh Crib
One of the really creepy things about cribs is that they almost always look like little baby jails because of the bars. Plus, between the bumper and the bars, you really can't see the baby unless you go right up to the edge. This Roh Crib from 2Modern looks like it could solve both those problems with it's really slick acrylic front. Then when the baby grows out of it, it looks like it could transition to a bed or a really cute loveseat.
Thursday, November 5, 2009
These Russian tin cars from Three Potato Four are strange in an awesome way. They look brand new, but they're obviously vintage. I don't know if I'd rather put them on a shelf as decoration or let the kids play with them.
Wednesday, November 4, 2009
Loving: Floor Cushions
These Floor Cushions from Mookah's Etsy shop are a fun pop of color. It's a really easy way to change up a room, just add some of these and a throw in a bright color and it's a whole new room.

Loving: Uglydoll Action Figures
I've loved these Uglydolls for a while now. I even had an Uglydoll-themed baby shower, and my boy's upstairs sleeping with one now. So for them to come out with an action figure from the MoMA Store is awesome. I would love to have one of these sitting at my sewing desk so that when I get too frustrated with a seam or something, I can just glance at it and giggle.
Monday, November 2, 2009
Loving: Ideaco Coin Bank
I really need this Ideaco Coin Bank from Emmo Home. I actually don't spend my spare change, I just toss it all in a cup and then splurge on something when the cup gets full, but that cup isn't very attractive. This bank has a really wide slot so you can easily just throw all your spare change in it. Plus, you can toss a few dollars in there too.

Loving: Lloyds of Susses Boardwalk Sway Chairs
These Boardwalk Sway Chairs from the 1940s at Factory 20 are beautiful. They're just worn enough to have some great character, but they still look like the perfect chair to lounge around in. The best part is the little bit of color on the arms.
Tuesday, September 8, 2009
Loving: Slick Occasional Table
This Slick Occasional Table from Exclusively Home is really cool. It can stand alone as a small side table or in a group. And you can stack them to be shelves.
Monday, September 7, 2009
Loving: Allrum's Tile Stickers
These Tile Stickers from Huset are a really cute and easy way to update a bathroom or kitchen. Plus, it's probably a lot less expensive to use these stickers on plain tiles than to buy the specially designed tiles.
Friday, September 4, 2009
Loving: Dodo Rocking Birds
These Dodo Rocking Birds from Emmo Home are just too funny. They're a great alternative to the usual rocking horse, and they look cool enough to not put away every time you have company over.
Thursday, September 3, 2009
Loving: Nick Table
I love the smoothness of this Nick Table from Blu Dot at Design Public. It's a really beautiful dark color, but all of the raw edges are lighter so it's not too much.
Wednesday, September 2, 2009
Loving: 8 Days-a-Week Planner
I love the fall colors on this 8 Days-a-Week Planner from Bob's Your Uncle at Velocity. It has the regular Sunday through Saturday plus Someday which is great for people like me who have great intentions of getting things done, but always put it off until someday.
Tuesday, September 1, 2009
Loving: Walnut Zenblocks
These Walnut Zenblocks from Zenblocks at Supermarket HQ. They're like building blocks for adults, but because they're oddly shaped, you have to use your noggin to get them to balance.
Monday, August 31, 2009
Loving: DuffyLondon Chandelier Print Wall Light
I liked this Chandelier Print Wall Light from Exclusively Home just for the print's quirkyness and cool color, but it's even better because it lights up. It would make a great grown up night light in a hallway.
Friday, August 28, 2009
Loving: Ninna-Nanna Bassinet
This Ninna-Nanna Bassinet from Liapela is really simple. It just has the basket and a frame that rocks, so you can just pull off the basket and let your baby sleep comfortably anywhere in your home. And when your baby outgrows the bassinet, you can use the basket for toys or blankets.
Thursday, August 27, 2009
Loving: Aristocrat Armchair
I saw this Aristocrat Armchair from Exclusively Home in a store window and it really just caught my eye. I doubt I will ever own a home where this is appropriate, but I can at least aspire to someday have a room that it fits into.
Wednesday, August 26, 2009
Loving: Sardinian Rugs
These Sardinian Rugs from Unica Home are really different, but with great colors. The pixelated patterns are really fun, but since they are more traditional patterns, they aren't so out there.
Tuesday, August 25, 2009
Loving: Inhabit Graphic Pillows
I really just love the prints on these pillows from Inhabit at Design Public. They're earthy and quirky and can go in so many differently designed rooms.
Monday, August 24, 2009
Loving: Curved Bent Plywood Shelf
This is the prefect shelf to have during college and the first couple years after. You're moving around almost yearly and usually doing so in a small car. The shelf from MojoWorkin's Etsy shop doesn't have any little screws to get lost and it can come apart, and lay completley flat. Plus, the swoopy-ness is really cool.
Friday, August 21, 2009
Loving: Kid's Work Bench
I already love the idea of having kids playing at building and making their own toys instead of just buying them, so having something like this work bench from Inquisitive Kid that's the perfect size for kids is great. It's a real work bench, just smaller than the real thing, and it has places for tools, a built on clamp, and it's solid so kids can hammer and bang on it without it falling apart.
Wednesday, August 19, 2009
Loving: Tissue Box Covers
This tissue box cover from YokoMono Studio at Supermarket HQ is something that you never knew you needed until you saw it and decided that living with those ugly tissue box designs all winter was just silly. And who wants to look at a cardboard box with flowers all over it while you're pollen allergies are acting up?
Tuesday, August 18, 2009
Loving: Pom-Pom Throw
The dusty pink color of this Pom-Pom Throw from Graham and Green is really beautiful. It's girly without being too overly Barbie-ish. I think the little pom poms would be a little tickly on your face, but they are really cute.
