The illustrations alone are adorable on this print from LauraGeorge at SupermarketHQ, but I love the explanation on how to eat a banana. I personally always ponder my banana before eating it.
The Dynasty Dinnerware from Z Gallerie is a great combination of a classic table setting image and a great modern color. These would look great on a plain bamboo table and they would be really fun to use at an outdoor dinner party.
I love couches like this Carter Sectional from Gus Modern at Feel More Human, where they have the chaise lounge built right in. It's just asking for you to kick back with a blanket and a book.
I love that these Slumped Vases from Branch look like they've been left out in the sun too long and have melted a bit. The bright colors are also really great, they're not colors you would normally see.
I love the storage in this Harmonica Bed from CB2. It's not just a plain old platform bed, you could store bed linens, books, clothes, or anything. You could probably even find a way to install an alarm clock underneath, so you'd wouldn't need to have a bedside table at all.
This I.V. Plant Pot from Vitamin is so much cooler than those blown glass globes they sell on infomercials, but they keep your plants watered just the same. It's also just a really fun thing to have around the house, you can see how long it takes guests to notice that your plants are on life support.
This TrueModern Low Dresser from Design Public would be a great thing to have as a tv stand or in the dining room since it has two different types of storage. Plus, the interior is painted a bright green that's a great pop of color.
These pumpkin and large glass doorknobs and from Graham and Green are just the perfect thing to do a quick upgrade on an apartment. They'll make every door just a little bit more special, and when you move out, you can simply swap all the knobs back to the original ones.
I love my coffee, but I really don't like coffee mugs, since the little handle just doesn't seem very stable for transporting the magical elixir from the coffee machine to my desk. This cup from Iittalia at Emmo Home completely solves the coffee cup issue. It's just a plain cup, so you can use it for anything, but it has a plastic ring around it to keep your hands from being burned.
I don't know if I'd be able to use this notecube from the MoMA store. It's just too cool to start ripping pages off. And, since it's flexible, I'd probably spend a good deal of time just playing with the stack.
This alphabet poster from Blue Art Studio at Feel More Human is definitely not something you would have to banish to a kid's room. The simple drawings against the muted and dusty colors help it work into almost any kind of room.
I love the bright orange in this Hedgerow duvet set from DwellStudio. The floral pattern tones down the bright orange and it has a beautiful pattern within the floral, almost like a kaliedoscope.
I love that this table from Ikea is so simple and natural. It would be really fun to match this with some ornate chairs or some really girly table settings.
These Grid Wall Pockets from MIO at Supermarket HQ are the perfect thing to keep things organized when desktop space is limited. You can find a spot for just about anything since there are so many different sized pockets. And I love the golden yellow as a background to the grey felt.
I love this quirky little Owl Doorstop from Graham and Green. It looks like something you would find in that crazy aunt's house, but if you take it away from the rest of the crazy decor, it's just really cool. And the button mouth gives this guy the weirdest surprised expression.
This Cortica Chaise Lounge from Branch looks like it would be really comfortable to sit in because of all the cork. The cork it's made from is reclaimed leftovers from bottle stopper companies, so while the chair wasn't previously the cork in a bottle of wine, it was really close.
I love these trivets from Laura Normandin at Rose and Radish. They look like old fashioned iron trivets, but they're actually made from wool felt. And when you're finished cooking with them, they would look great hanging on a wall.
I love these Context Chairs from Design Public. They look like they were made out of parts from a bunch of different chairs, but the colors all work together. You could probably get one of each for your dining room, the mismatched set would be really interesting.
