These Babushka Piggy Banks from Studio Ooga at Emmo Home are a perfectly simple form of a piggy bank. They would look really cool grouped together on a dresser and you could label them for different expenditures (shoes, vacation, more piggy banks...).

I think winter makes me want to completely redecorate my place with dark woods and wooly rugs, so this Matera Dresser from Design Within Reach would be perfect. It's really simple, but I love how the trim frames the drawers and holds it up off the floor.

This Papermen Coat Rack from Dutch by Design would look really cute in a kid's room. It's the perfect combination of practical and adorable.

Loving: Pia Wallen Slip-in Slipper

So when I was little I got it in my mind to make my mom a pair of slippers as a surprise. So I found some nice green fabric, traced my mom's shoes right in the middle of it, and cut them out. A little glue and some cotton balls later I gave them to my mom only to have her realize I'd cut up the fabric she'd just bought to make a new skirt for herself.

These Slippers from Pia Wallen at Velocity remind me exactly of those slippers, though without the glued on cotton balls.
